A man was in a horrible accident in which he lost
both of his ears, and his unusual condition made
him very self-conscious.
After the accident, he received a large sum of settlement money which
he used to start his own company. When the time came to hire an
assistant, he picked three candidates from the resumes he had
received, and scheduled interviews.
The first interview went very well. The boss really liked this guy...
His last question in the interview was,
"Do you notice anything unusual about me?"
The job applicant said,
"Now that you mention it, you have no ears."
The man got very upset
and threw the guy out.
The second interview went even better than the first.
This candidate was better suited for the job.
Again, to conclude the interview, the man asked,
"Do you notice anything unusual about me?"
The candidate said,
"Yes, you have no ears."
The boss became really upset
again and threw him out!
The third candidate interviewed better than the others. The man
was certain that he wanted to hire this guy, but he asked once again,
"Do you notice anything unusual about me?"
The candidate replied "Yeah, you're wearing contact lenses."
Surprised, the man said,
"Wow! That's quite perceptive of you! How could you tell?"
The candidate burst out laughing and said,
"Well now, you can't very well wear glasses
if you don't have any ears!"
